These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website hqtbridaltailoring.com and the services provided by HQT Bridal Tailoring (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Hannah Quijada in Kingwood, Texas.

By accessing our website, scheduling a consultation, booking services, or otherwise engaging with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

1. Our Services

HQT Bridal Tailoring provides professional bridal alterations, gown cleaning and preservation, bridal concierge services, and related custom work. We also offer phone consultations and in-person Bridal Fit Sessions.

All services are subject to availability and are provided at our discretion. We reserve the right to decline any project that we believe falls outside our expertise, timeline, or capacity.

2. Booking, Consultations, and Appointments

• Phone consultations and Bridal Fit Sessions may be scheduled through our website or by contacting us directly.
• A Bridal Fit Session fee (currently $75) is required and is non-refundable once the appointment has been confirmed, except in cases of cancellation by us.
• Appointments are confirmed only after we receive any required deposit or fee and confirm availability.
• You agree to provide accurate information (including wedding date, contact details, and service needs) when booking.

3. Payments, Deposits, and Pricing

• Pricing for alterations, cleaning, preservation, and concierge services is provided after consultation and assessment of the garment(s).
• A deposit is typically required to secure your place in our schedule and begin work. Deposits are non-refundable once work has begun or materials have been ordered.
• Final payment is due upon completion of services or as otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept the payment methods listed on our website or communicated to you. All fees are in U.S. dollars.
• Prices are subject to change. Quoted prices are valid for the period stated in your quote.

4. Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel a consultation or fitting when possible.
• Deposits and Bridal Fit Session fees are generally non-refundable.
• If you cancel after work has begun, you remain responsible for payment for completed work and any materials purchased.
• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to illness, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will work with you to find a mutually acceptable alternative.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your gown, timeline, and desired changes.
• Bring the correct undergarments, shoes, and any accessories needed for fittings.
• Arrive on time for appointments. Late arrivals may result in a shortened appointment or rescheduling.
• Communicate any changes to your wedding date or requirements as soon as possible.
• Understand that major style changes, extensive beading work, or complex structural alterations may require additional time and cost.

6. Timelines and Turnaround

Turnaround times are estimates only and depend on the complexity of the work, current workload, and the condition of the garment. We will communicate realistic timelines during your consultation. Rush services, when available, may incur additional fees.

7. Care of Garments

While your gown is in our care, we will handle it with professional care. However:

• We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, manufacturing defects, or issues that become apparent only after work begins.
• You are responsible for disclosing any known issues with the garment before work starts.
• We recommend that you have appropriate insurance for high-value garments.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (text, images, logos, designs, and branding) is owned by HQT Bridal Tailoring or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content without prior written permission.

Any custom design concepts or techniques developed during your project remain our intellectual property, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, emotional distress, or damages related to wedding-day outcomes.
• We are not responsible for delays or issues caused by factors outside our reasonable control (including supply shortages, shipping delays, or client-caused delays).

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is.” While we strive for excellence and take pride in our workmanship, we do not guarantee specific aesthetic results that depend on subjective preference, fabric behavior, or factors outside our control. We make no warranties beyond those expressly stated in writing.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HQT Bridal Tailoring, Hannah Quijada, and our team from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, or inaccurate information you provide.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Harris County, Texas. You consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
