What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and Zelle.

What if my wedding is cancelled or postponed?

Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. If that happens, worry not, as you can collect your stunning gown within 30 days. Just remember to settle any remaining balance before you head out.

What do I need to take to my first appointment?

Please remember to bring your veil, shoes, and shapewear to your appointment. Alterations cannot begin until your shapewear has been selected (if necessary). If you do not own any, we have a variety of options available for you to try.

Do you do other alterations? i.e. Mother of the bride, suits, etc.

We're only offering bridal alterations at the moment.

If I have multiple wedding gowns, do you offer a discount?

We’re excited to see more brides, including those in the LGBTQIA and Trans community, embracing multiple gowns for their big day! However, since each gown requires its own specialized alterations, we’re unable to offer discounts for this service.

What is the average cost of alterations?

Alteration costs vary from $600 to $3,000 for common modifications. If you want an exact quote, please use our contact form to submit your photos and discuss the specifics of your dress and alterations with us.

What is a Bridal Concierge?

A Bridal Concierge is a specialized service that provides personalized assistance to brides on their wedding day. This service typically includes a dedicated professional who helps with various tasks such as gown fitting, last-minute alterations, steaming the dress, managing the bride’s attire throughout the day, and ensuring the bride feels comfortable and stress-free.

The goal of a Bridal Concierge is to make the bride’s experience as seamless and luxurious as possible, allowing her to focus on enjoying her special day.

When should I bring my wedding dress in for alterations?

The industry standard is to start alterations 3 months before your wedding, but we like to do things differently. We encourage you to see us as soon as possible. After all, this is Houston—the city of hurricanes and unexpected natural events.

We want to make sure your gown alteration process isn’t disrupted by life’s surprises or whatever the weather may bring.

If I don't get the Bridal Concierge package, will you still be available for wedding day emergencies via phone?

Unfortunately, wedding day emergency support is reserved for brides who have purchased the Bridal Concierge package. This ensures we can provide the dedicated attention and care that this service requires.

What guarantee do you offer?

We guarantee quality work with a perfectly tailored gown that fits your vision. We also offer free repairs on all gowns prior to the wedding day, even after they've been picked up. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we’re here to ensure your gown is flawless for your big day.

Refunds

Before Alterations Start: If alterations haven't started, any payments made towards the alterations will be refunded, minus the $200 consultation fee.

Once Alterations Have Started: A refund will be issued based on the work not completed. Alterations that have been completed or begun will not be refunded.

After Alterations Are Completed: No refunds will be applied at this stage, and the gown must be picked up within 30 days of the last fitting.

After Gown Pickup: If the gown has been picked up, no refunds will be applied, even if the client is not satisfied with the alterations.

If the Gown is Taken to Another Tailor: No refunds will be issued if the client takes the gown to another tailor.

To learn more about our refund policy, please review our Bridal Alterations Contract here.

Will you charge more if something goes wrong?

In the event that time permits and alterations can be made, additional charges will be incurred, for which the client will be responsible. Payment for such charges must be made prior to initiating any further alterations. If there isn't sufficient time to make corrections, and the gown no longer fits or is of the wrong height, the Business Owner will not be held accountable. The client must fulfill any outstanding payments, and the gown will be considered complete.

In the event I, the client, pick up the dress and later decide to request changes or don't approve of an alteration, I understand that I may be charged for requested changes.

I, the client, understand that if I change shoes, shapewear, petticoats or any other items that my dress may not fit the way as discussed in the initial consultation and that the Business Owner will not be held liable for these changes. If time allows, the Business Owner will do everything possible to ensure the gown fits as discussed in the initial consultation. Only the Business Owner will determine if there is sufficient time. To learn more about this, please review our Bridal Alterations Contract here.
