Who we work with

Brides in Kingwood, Humble, Atascocita, New Caney, Spring, The Woodlands, and Greater Houston. Second gowns, heirloom dresses, plus-size let-outs, and two-gown weddings. Inclusive fittings for LGBTQ+ couples.

What happens in the studio

  1. Phone consult. Photos of you in the gown, your date, a working quote. About 30 minutes. No charge.
  2. First fitting. $200, credited toward alterations. Measurements, bustle plan, written scope.
  3. Work and follow-up fittings. Most brides have three appointments total.
  4. Optional next steps. In-house clean and preservation, or wedding-day concierge.

How we work

The gown is fitted to you, not the other way around. We quote before we cut. If you change the plan after we agreed, we tell you the cost before we do the new work. We repair our own work before the wedding day at no charge, even after pickup.

    My name is Hannah Quijada and I've been sewing for over 2 decades. My passion for sewing started when I was a young girl, inspired by my grandmother. She had a beautiful antique treadle Singer sewing machine, along with a more modern sewing machine. But at the time, both were quite intimidating to me!


    Despite the initial intimidation, I have very fond memories of selecting fabrics, carefully cutting patterns, and sewing creative projects with her. I can’t help but think that she’d be so proud of how far I’ve come in my own sewing skills, and in my love for the art itself.


    In 2017, I began learning about lingerie, custom apparel, and the importance of a well-tailored fit. I fell in love with learning how luxurious garments are made, and I dove into tuxedo alterations and formal wear. From there, I began working with bridal gowns, serving brides and their bridal parties.

    For us, altering wedding gowns is more than excellent sewing skills and mastered technique. It’s about building a relationship with our brides and understanding her desires, so we can have the privilege of delighting her with a perfectly tailored wedding gown.
