Kingwood bridal alterations

It is our job to make sure the gown fits you — not the other way around.

We start on the phone, not on a pinning table. You send photos, we talk through what you actually want, and you leave that call with a number — not a “we’ll see once we start.”

What we tell brides on the consult

The quote

You get a range on the call. We finalize it at the first fitting if construction changes what we thought from photos. After that, the number is the number — unless you add something new, and we tell you the cost before we do it.

The calendar

A lot of Houston shops will not talk to you until you are six to eight weeks out. We are the opposite. Once you know you want us, book. Sewing is not what takes the time. Getting on the books is.

The fittings

Most brides need three appointments. The first is blocked for two hours so you can ask everything. We almost never need the whole two hours. Later visits are slower on purpose — we are not rushing you out the door.

Start here: a free phone consult

About thirty minutes. We confirm your date, whether bridals are before the wedding or the day of, and what you want done. If you do not know what a bustle is, that is a normal part of the call — we will explain it.

Photos of you in the gown help. If you do not have them yet, still talk to us.

  1. Phone consult. Quote range, timeline, and whether we can take the date.
  2. First fitting. $200, credited toward alterations. We pin, talk bustle options, and lock the plan.
  3. Work, then follow-up fittings. We start at the top of the gown. Hem and bustle usually come later, once the bodice is right.

There are too many other stressors in a wedding. The dress should not be one of them.

Questions at 2 a.m. happen. Text us. We would rather you ask than sit with it.
